The fully computerized system uses ProLink software to run customized load tests with automatic pass-fail results. It acquires data and displays graphs of speed, power, voltage and current. A transistorized load bank is available to simulate the load on the alternator and a DC Power Supply is available to simulate the battery power to the field.
Tests may be run in user-specified time segments at constant or ramped speed at constant or ramped current load. Summarized data and time based data are logged to disk, and can be easily reviewed in graphical and tabular formats within the application, or imported directly into Microsoft Excel, or other Windows software, for further analysis. A customized test results report page is displayed at the end of each test.
