Thetesters are adaptable to many spring configurations by utilizing universal fixture plates and movable pins. The drive member may be slid to the location appropriate for spring type and length, thereby simulating the operating condition of each spring. For testing, the spring is placed into position and loaded to the required degrees of rotation.
Torque and rotation in either direction are displayed on the Model 3700 Display Module or on computer using our Win3700 Software. With our patented “Pass-Thru” feature up to 8 loads or 8 angles can be preset by the operation. As each control point is passed, the system captures and retains the corresponding height or load and provides a digital display in English or metric units. The spring rate is computed automatically. An optional printer is available.
