The Thermal Imaging Camera System provides a convenient means to capture brake temperature distributions for many applications. Using an infrared, non-contact temperature measurements camera, this system provides a color coded image that is interpreted using our ProLink Software package.
Real-time viewing of brake tests are possible and data from the camera are saved in the Link Standard Data set synchronized with all other data. Any of the ProLink tools can be used to report on the thermal images recorded.
One can click on a point and get the temperature and its time variation. The system is suitable for tests such as thermal distribution, indirect dynamic pressure distribution, rotor and drum thermal and cooling evaluation, on-brake DTV generation, and rotor thermal deflection.
