The Environmental Conditioning Unit (ECU) is utilized to provide controlled temperature and humidity conditions. This system is designed to allow year-round performance tests at consistent environmental conditions within a conventional size test enclosure.
Constant environmental control is useful in maintaining consistent performance results from test to test. Parameters are programmed through the integrated ProLink™ dynamometer control system.
The ECU is built as an integrated system with a typical floor, roof, or mezzanine installation. A chiller-type system is utilized and can be cooled by air or water. Insulated ducts and dust filtration system are utilized.
